The Gold Award is the highest award in
Girl Scouting. Recipients who earn the Gold Award
are outstanding in every way, not only in Scouting,
but in their everyday lives.
The Gold Award requires girls to gain
leadership skills,
explore careers, and develop personal values while
serving the community. It is a testimony to the recipient's
ability to set goals, to plan, and to put their values and
aspirations into action.
